I have always liked the idea of a Kimono. The ones I usually see in pictures they are really colorful and have pretty patterns. The style of the Kimono can be determined by a bunch of different things like the age of the person and their gender. Seasons can also determine the style and color of the Kimono. http://web.mit.edu/jpnet/kimono/ Gagaku is a traditional form of music that uses a tsuri-daiko. It is a painted drum that stands up and kind of reminds me of a gong. There are a ton of other instruments and to many to list here so I shall give you a link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gagaku They also have the modern forms of music like rock and hip hop. There is a ton of bands in Japan just like in America.

Chinese families are wanted by the government to marry late and have children late so that there are fewer children and healthier babies. There are about 340 million families with about roughly 4 people per family. And the children are really close with their parents and are usually expected to support their parents as they grow older. There used to be an authority for each family that was usually the husband, but now house and family development is decided by both wife and husband.
